Why use Turtle Wax clay kit?

Wash and dry your car thoughly and run your fingertips over the surface. Clean paint should feel perfectly smooth. A gritty or rough texture indicates the presence of environmental contaminants. If your car is lightly coloured, you may be able to see stains, particularly tar spots.

Everyday your car is bombarded with contaminants such as brake dust , dirt, tree sap, insects and road tar. These impurities become embedded in your cars finish, making the paintwork rough and dull and prevent a freshly waxed surface from properly reflecting the light. Eventually this will cause oxidation of the paint, reducing the aesthetic quality of the finish and the ability of the paint to sheet water. Using a normal car wash product will remove the surface dirt but not these bonded contaminants and stains.
